We’ve wrapped up our 2025 review and the progress is real. Children are reading with confidence, meeting math targets, and moving into strong high schools with scholarships.

Highlights

  • Reading growth: Average +1.9 years for students who started below grade level
  • Math benchmarks: 78% met or exceeded year-end targets
  • Attendance: 93% overall, with focused follow-up for at-risk learners
  • Transitions: 87% of Grade 8 students placed in partner high schools or scholarship programs
  • Writing: 74% met grade-level rubric by year-end
  • Digital skills: 91% of students type 20+ wpm by Grade 6
  • Reading culture: 5,120 library checkouts this year
  • Wellbeing and safety: 100% staff trained in safeguarding; regular drills completed each term

What made the difference
Small-group catch-up, consistent tutoring, and a stronger reading block in early grades. Teacher coaching also helped us tighten lessons and feedback.

Next steps
We are expanding the Tech Club, adding a phonics booster for Grades 1–2, and upgrading the library with more bilingual readers.

Thank you
This year’s results are powered by steady support from donors, volunteers, and partner schools. To help us keep the momentum, consider sponsoring a student or funding classroom materials.
