At Mera Ghar Orphanage School, children learn in a community built on kindness, honesty, responsibility, and service. These values show up in daily routines, peer support, and how we celebrate effort. Health comes first: resident students receive breakfast, a snack, and lunch; day-scholars get a healthy snack. We teach hygiene, provide clean water, and run regular screenings with referrals to clinic partners. Safety is non-negotiable. All adults are vetted and trained in child protection, learning spaces stay supervised, and students know how to report concerns to a safeguarding lead. We practice positive discipline, offer counseling, and watch closely for bullying to keep classrooms inclusive and calm. Emergency drills, first-aid readiness, a clear visitor policy, and safe transport procedures keep everyone prepared. Student records are protected, and photos or stories are shared only with consent. Families partner with us by updating health info, reinforcing values at home, and raising concerns early.
