Why Mera Ghar?
Millions of children across the globe live without parental care, exposed to poverty, neglect, and exploitation. Mera Ghar is a response to this crisis to ensure that orphaned children are not treated as a burden, but as a trust of the society. We strongly believe that charity for an orphan is not just financial support, it's a moral and spiritual duty.
What We Provide
Mera Ghar doesn’t just offer shelter it provides a complete life support system for the children, including:
- Safe Accommodation:
Clean, secure, home-like environment in Lahore and Shujabad branches.
- Formal & Islamic Education:
children receive regular school education through The Equal Schooling System and learn Qur’an, Salah, Islamic ethics, and values.
- Nutritious Meals:
3 healthy meals a day, with attention to dietary balance and hygiene.
- Clothing & Hygiene:
Seasonal clothing, shoes, personal hygiene kits, bedding, and more.
- Medical Care:
Regular checkups, medicine, emergency support, and health awareness.
- Character Development:
Islamic values, ethics, and confidence-building sessions to help children develop strong personalities.
- Life Skills & Vocational Training:
Computer literacy, stitching, crafts, gardening, and other skills for future independence.
- Emotional & Psychological Support:
Mentorship, counseling, and family-like care to heal emotional wounds and provide love.

Admission Criteria
We admit orphaned and extremely vulnerable children, especially between the ages of 4 to 10 years. Admission is granted after proper verification and documentation. Our goal is to provide a permanent, nurturing home not a temporary shelter.

We are continuously working to expand and improve our facilities. Some of our future plans include:
